From Odd Jobs to Solar Supervisor
The story of Ajay Pateria from Narayawali near Sagar is really interesting. If we had to give it a title, it would be "No Job is Too Small."
Ajay, one of five siblings from a regular family, started working right after finishing his ITI certification in 2016 to help his family. He began at a mobile repair shop in Sagar in 2017, then worked as a motor mechanic in Indore and at a wire factory in Gujarat. But when the pandemic hit, he had to come back home and open a shop, though it wasn't enough.
Then, Khare Energy Private Limited got in touch. His first job was painting pillars, which he did really well. Impressed, the company decided to train him in solar and plant installation.
After working on different sites in Sagar and Indore for about three months, handling installations of 40-50 kW, Ajay was ready for up to 70% of the tasks in this field. Out of the blue, the company made him the supervisor for a big project—a 2-megawatt Kusum 'A' scheme. He successfully completed this important project for Khare Energy Private Limited.
Now, Ajay works as an operator on the 2-megawatt plant in Narayawali. He looks after all the technical stuff. Getting local jobs and improving his skills changed his life and gave him a chance to build a better future while staying with his family.
His journey with us at Khare Energy is not just a story of personal success; it is a powerful illustration of how local employment and skill enhancement can transform lives.
